Automotive High-Side Dimming Rear Light

The car lights are significant parts of a car system. The reference design is an automotive high-side dimming rear light. The board is composed of the main component TPS1H100-Q1, high-side power switch with an integrated NMOS power field-effect transistor (FET) and charge pump. The TPS92630-Q1 and TPS92638-Q1, is a three-channel linear and eight-channel linear LED driver, respectively. The reference design also comes with a TPS7B6950, which is a high voltage LDO regulator. The TLC555-Q1 is timer that generates the PWM input for the high-side driver. This reference design uses a body control module (BCM) to supply the rear light system. Read more

Offline LED Driver

This design is a simple nonisolated LED driver that is intended to operate directly from a 400VDC input. It can basically drive a string of 27 white LEDs or 6 amber LEDs at 400mA. It uses the MAX16801 high brightness LED driver control that is well suited for universal input (rectified 85VAC to 265VAC) LED drivers. It features an input undervoltage lockout (UVLO) for programming the input-supply start voltage, and to ensure proper operation during brownout conditions and has has an internal-bootstrap undervoltage lockout circuit with a large hysteresis that simplifies offline LED driver designs. Read more

Centralize Light Switch using QTouch

The lighting control of modern building is now into touch panel. It provides convenience to lighting control because it becomes more compact unlike the typical 2-way switch. In this design, it features single-key QTouch touch sensor IC that have one-configurable as either a single key or a proximity sensor. Since the key outline different sizes and shapes, several combinations are possible. It is settable as toggle switch or momentary switch while the signal processing is self-calibration, auto drift compensation, and noise filtering. Read more
