Low Cost 5V/1A Wireless Power Transmitter

This reference design can be used in WPC compliant wireless chargers for smartphones or wearables. It can be also used in automotive, industrial, and medical applications. The benefit of wireless or inductive charging is that, it is more convenient since cables are not needed. Also, there is less wear and tear on the socket of the device since the there is no need to constantly plug and unplug the device. One of the disadvantages is that, it takes longer time to charge due to efficiency issues. Read more

Temperature to Digital converter

The reference design being shown is a simple temperature sensing circuit that uses LM35 as the sensing component and the ADC0804, which is the main component that digitalized the analog input. The ADC0804 is a CMOS 8-bit analog-to-digital converter that uses a differential potentiometric ladder. In this design, LM158 which is a two independent, high gain and internally frequency compensated general-purpose op-amp is used to be the one sending the reference voltage to the ADC0804. Read more
